Job Description
Bavarian Inn Restaurant is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain the optimal functioning of our kitchen and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair, replace, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, systems, and facilities in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain a working knowledge of heating, ventilation, refrigeration, plumbing, electric, and welding principles.
Requirements:
- Universal EPA Certification for types I, II, and III refrigeration units.
- Able to stand/walk for 8 hours and lift, push, or pull weights up to 100 pounds.
- Prior experience with commercial kitchen equipment required.
Daily Tasks:
- Dismantle machines to determine problems and assess external assistance needs.
- Perform repairs and replacements on gauges, valves, and other plumbing equipment.
Preventive Maintenance:
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure mechanical equipment operates correctly.
- Clean and lubricate vital parts of machinery as necessary.
Odds & Ends:
- Remove snow from parking lots and traffic areas.
- Assist with errands and pickup/drop off of products.
