JOB DESCRIPTION: Join Baxter Aerospace and shape the future of firefighting with our Dragonfly autonomous aircraft, a groundbreaking vertical takeoff platform designed to clear the air—literally. As an engineer at Baxter Aerospace, you’ll lead projects and complete them from start (collaborating and designing) to finish (shipping the project). We are looking for someone with around five years of experience or more, with strong project management skills that is quick to adapt to change.

DUTIES:
- Follow design projects through completion.
- Gather design requirements and interact with customers in meaningful ways.
- Design hardware, spacecraft, and/or unmanned aircraft.
- Quote complete design and oversee the build and shipment of the design.
- Complete delegation to the shop and work in the shop when needed.
- Receive design reviews and feedback on how to improve the current build.
- Collaborate with a team and work individually.
SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Expertise in CAD (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, OnShape)
- Bonus for experience in composite fabrication (e.g., autoclave, out-of-autoclave).
- Passion for our mission to revolutionize wildfire mitigation through autonomous tech.
EXPECTED HOURS/SCHEDULE:
- Full Time: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm.
