Your Purpose as an Accounts Payable Specialist:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for preparing and managing all AP activities, ensuring accurate recording of transactions according to company guidelines. They follow internal accounting procedures to maintain financial security and perform various duties as assigned by the AP Manager.

• Scan, upload, and post invoices in the AP system
• Monitor and resolve tickets through the AP ticketing system
• Maintain the monthly expense checklist and reconcile vendor statements
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoice copies, past due notices, and payment statuses
• Process payments, including manual checks, and assist with year-end 1099 reconciliation
• Research and resolve outstanding AP items
• Perform administrative tasks and support special projects as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Basic Qualifications:

• Preferred experience in accounting
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and multitasking
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Flexible, goal-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks effectively
