Medical Malpractice Associate Attorney

Baxter Baker is seeking an attorney to join our Medical Malpractice/Litigation Group. You will be part of our team that defends healthcare providers in medical malpractice lawsuits and Board of Physician matters. This position is ideal for someone looking to become a trial attorney. You will work closely with multiple attorneys who have been recognized as the most distinguished in Maryland. Responsibilities include all matters related to the handling of medical malpractice cases including trying cases, preparing cases for trial, taking depositions, preparing witnesses for deposition, attending mediations, participating in motions hearings and other court required conferences, and performing legal research and writing. Requirements:

• - Licensed in MD or MD Bar Admission Pending
• - J.D. from an accredited law school
• - Ability to work as part of a team

Expected Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 depending on experience
