We are seeking a dedicated Optometric Assistant/Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess knowledge in optical services and retail sales.
*Responsibilities*
- Perform preliminary testing for patients including measuring visual acuity, intraocular pressure, and other vital signs
- Assist with pediatric eye exams and provide a welcoming environment for young patients
- Support the optometrist in conducting various clinic procedures
- Handle optical equipment and maintain cleanliness in the clinic
*Requirements*
- Experience in patient care and customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of optical services and basic physiology
- Familiarity with retail sales, especially in an optical setting, is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a clinic environment with strong attention to detail
