SUMMARY:
The Clinic Mechanic must have the ability to repair and maintain facility grounds and mechanical equipment in accordance with best practices for equipment and aesthetics for clinic grounds.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in general maintenance and 3 years of general construction knowledge.
Certifications: Obtain Industrial Fork lift operators certification within 6 months of date of hire/transfer date. Must be able to acquire an Arkansas Boiler License within one year from start of boiler training. Must obtain and hold an Arkansas Hospital Plumbers license within 2 years of date of hire/transfer date.
Other: Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets and maintains requirements set forth by the hospital insurance carrier.
Safety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.

Keen sense of hearing and visual acuity with or without correction. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure. Conditions may be unpleasant at times due to dust, dirt, heat and cold. Required to wear PPE.

Work setting, Baxter Health clinics and out-buildings. Residential and commercial settings.
