What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drug Screen Processor - Interventional Pain Management position at Baxter Health?
This position ensures that non-blood specimens are efficiently, accurately & courteously collected & prepared for testing per test specific standards. Independently perform testing with careful attention to safety, quality control and procedural guidelines. Perform clerical duties including auditing requisitions for completion, filing, routing of patient information/results to/from providers. Patient registration & sample transport as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: At least one year technical & LIS experience preferred

This position requires the ability to:
- Communicate effectively, orally & in writing
- Stand/walk, bend/stoop/twist & occasionally lift up to 20lbs
- Spend eight hours processing/distributing samples, performing testing, entering computer data (in front of computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing keyboard and/or mouse)
- Analyze data to produce meaningful information

- Effectively problem solve in real time
- Deal with patient & family concerns/complaints in a professional & compassionate manner
