SUMMARY: The Financial Analyst supports and assists with the preparation of financial analyses and reports including, but not limited to, operational and capital budgets, financial statements, physician compensation, revenue cycle reporting, statistical reports, cost analyses and other financial information; perform complex and specialized assignments in assigned area of expertise; perform lead role in coordinating complex projects.
BAXTER HEALTH COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands and adheres to Baxter Health standards as they appear in Dynamic Health and Healthstream Policy Manager.
Required to work with the Decision Support Manager regularly to carryout, initiate and/or implement best practices for the Baxter Health Accounting Department.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelors in Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related degree.
Experience: 12 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in any of these areas; Data Analytics/Reporting, Compensation, Accounting, Revenue Cycle, Finance, Contract Management, Budgets, Healthcare Administration, Data Migration, EMR super user, Payer Reimbursement, System Administration, SQL/Access, or Benchmarking/KPIs.
Other: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, advanced skills in Excel required.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a position in a hospital/clinic setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Office staff: 5 days a week, Monday – Friday, 8 hour shifts
Remote options can be considered after six months, with demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain deadlines.
