Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit plays a vital role in providing direct patient care and leadership within the nursing team. This role requires effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit and provide leadership within the nursing team.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients served, through the model of Shared Governance.
- Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team with a focus on promoting evidence-based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. ADN required. BSN preferred.
- Licensure: Current Arkansas or Compact State RN License in good standing.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience preferred. BLS required. ACLS within the first year of employment.
- Other: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required.
