SUMMARY:
Responsible and accountable for the patient care of all patients receiving care, treatment, and/or diagnostic services from the Pain Clinic. Responsible and accountable for the decisions regarding delegation of tasks to licensed and unlicensed persons involved in that patient care. Responsible and accountable for the management of personnel. Responsible and accountable for adhering to all standards of nursing care. Responsible and accountable to know, own, and energize the vision, mission, values, and standards of the hospital.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. ADN required. BSN preferred.
Experience: : 2-5 years of nursing experience required. 1-3 years acute care preferred.
License: Current Arkansas or Compact State RN license in good standing
Certifications: Must maintain current BLS certification.
Other: Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Ability to stand and walk, bend, squat and twist, and occasionally lift patients with assistance 125 pounds or more multiple times per shift. Must be able to push in excess of 150 pounds wheelchair with patient and equipment. Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure. May be subject to inside environmental conditions, hazards (including electrical currents and exposure to high heat and chemicals) and infectious diseases.
Work Environment:
Office setting and Procedural setting, within an out-patient environment. Some travel is required.
