Friday - Monday Schedule
SUMMARY:
Responsible and accountable for maintaining a clean, sanitary hospital environment and prevention of infectious risks to employees, patients and the community by safe collection and disposal of hospital waste.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent or minimum score of Bronze on the Career Readiness Certification (“CRC”) certificate. If interested in obtaining CRC register as a Job Seeker at www.ARJobLink.Arkansas.gov.
Experience: Waste management experience preferred, however willing to train individual with initiative and desire to learn.
License: Current Arkansas driver’s license with a driving record that meets and maintains requirements sets forth by the hospital insurance carrier.
Other: Ability to understand written and oral instructions and work well with others. Required to attend an Infection Control education class annually. Entry level computer skills required.
Safety Sensitive Designation:
This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.

Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity. Able to drive company vehicle. Must be able to tolerate cleaning chemicals, etc.
Work Environment:
Specific area assignments of hospital setting. Conditions may be unpleasant at times, due to odors, soiled areas, and body fluids and excretions.
