This role :
Simtra is seeking highly motivated undergraduate students for our Summer Internship Program. We look for diverse students with inquisitive minds and the desire to challenge themselves. Our interns work closely with industry professionals and learn quickly how to problem solve on real-world projects that contribute to clinical research and manufacturing processes. In addition to on-the-job experience, we offer learning sessions with top leadership, site visits to local projects and social events.
The Reliability Engineering & Maintenance team focuses on planning, coordinating, and executing trade shows, conferences, and marketing events (internal and external). They are responsible for event marketing, brand promotion, and stakeholder engagement within the company.
The intern will work on the planning and management of conference and tradeshows. This includes show services (booth design), promotional strategy (email invitation, digital ads), and onsite execution (presentation materials, sale support). They will also work on the implementation of annual client surveys and reporting of results.
Required qualifications :
- Pursuing a BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiar with marketing tools (i.e., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or HubSpot)
- Experience with social media marketing, email campaigns, or event management software
- Willingness to travel to trade shoes and assist with on-site event execution, as applicable
- Highly motivated, self-driven individual with passion working within pharmaceutical industry
