What your day-to-day will look like, what you will learn on the job
- Manage and monitor the day-to-day processing of cash flow operations and reporting.
- Manage accounts payable invoices and payments.
- Provide accounts receivable review.
- Maintain and manage credit card program.
- Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close out process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Preparation of financial reporting and analysis of financial statements.
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Ensure collection and payouts of shareholder transactions.
- Prepare and file use tax filings and payments; FIT and SIT quarterly payments.
- Manage and maintain W2 and vendor 1099 process.
- Assist in overseeing the administration and reconciliation of 401(k) accounts.
- Assist with budgeting process.
- Perform payroll review, journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist with company insurance.
- Collaborate with Facilities to manage the company’s leases and generate annual financial reports detailing the costs associated with each location.
- Produce financial reports for the Vice President of Finance and Board of Directors.
- Propose key performance benchmarks to evaluate the company’s success and training needs.
- Assist in monthly compliance of filing quarterly and annual reports on taxes, payroll and retirement benefits.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the Accounting department.
- Mentor the Accounting team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency Microsoft Office Products.
- Ability to interpret financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements
- CPA designation.
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system experience.
