Your Role at Baxter

Responsible for leading the dedicated team that performs the demand planning to procurement strategy for the Spare Parts Department. Oversees daily vendor operations throughout Global Technical Services to identify opportunities to increase productivity, improve quality, lower costs and resolve issues.
Collaborates and builds cross functional relationships with different internal and external departments, vendors, and customers to make sure that systems in place are working properly, identifies areas where improvements can be made and creates polices to standardize workflow. Coordinates tasks to resolve issues for both internal and external customers. Manages special projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and with-in budgeted requirements. Reports project status and issues to the appropriate service owners/management including project review meetings and dashboards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that optimize inventory turns, service levels, maximize profitability, and support dynamic changes in market conditions. Support teams with analytics derived from enhanced data/information flows and systems.
This is a full-time position where the candidate would report to the Batesville office. The hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. The candidate would conduct a hybrid model working from home on Monday and Friday, and reporting to the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOP’s, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements.
- Creates, presents, and holds vendors accountable to recovery and commitment plans.
- Identifies, recommends, and creates policies and procedures, dashboards and other resource tools as needed to support team.
- Maintains constant communication with management, team, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization.
- Supervises day to day planning and buying activities of the team
- Responsible for strong dynamic demand planning analytics and processes owning data stream collection, analysis and reporting supporting domestic and international products.
- Responsible for the planning, buying and standard costing activities maintaining strong communication channels with Suppliers, Customers and internal Operations (Engineering/QA/ Finance/Global support functions/Operations)
- Coordinate purchase orders, inventory levels. Expedite/prioritize distribution and release of materials safety stock positions and mitigated disposition of materials.
- Share accountability for improving service levels, in conjunction with inventory goals, through distribution requirement planning and deployments.
- Collaborate cross functionally with internal and external customers in domestic and international markets, ensuring the team have service parts to conduct their required services.
- Maintain Inventory Control process (i.e.- inventory counts, cycle counts, variance research, vital adjustments) for reps. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Coordinate distribution and repair work order releases with Largo operations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in negotiations, contract, and supplier management
- Ability to communicate and lead suppliers both domestically and internationally
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to plan and implement resolutions to technical problems in a time sensitive matter
- Have proven track record to lead cross functional projects and teams
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills to include (but not limitted to) working in high-pressure environments that involve de-escalation and negotiation to gain favorable results for all parties.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to address concerns and issues, while monitoring overall customer satisfaction
- Complete, in-depth understanding of all aspects of optimized supply chains, inventory financial forecasting, reserve setting/execution, inventory turns and service levels.
- Ability to execute end to end supply chains unpredictable repair parts utilizing system driven procurement signals, product life cycle, and market intelligence.
- Great analytical and problem-solving skills during high pressure situations
- Strong software application skills such as MS Office and Visio products
- Support and back-up other local/global planning positions as needed to foster Team effort
- Ability to do analysis of tradeoffs between business objectives - ability to think systemically.
- Embrace change and adapt to new market needs.
- Effective stakeholder communication and collaboration.
- Seek continuous consultation to stakeholders to mitigate business risks.
- Drive results through Team collaboration/leadership and self.
- Experience navigating, performing processes within, retrieving, and analyzing reports from MRP/ERP systems such as SAP, JDE, etc.

The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive.
