What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operator 3 (Bean Sorter) position at Baxters North America Inc?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Sort dry beans in response to direction given by Area Manager.
- Be able to change color sorter for appropriate bean selection.
- Must be able to operator lift truck within company guidelines and have a company issued license.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
- Need some mechanical skills. Will need to be able to recognize and understand if machine is not working correctly.
- Will be responsible for retrieving and returning product to its correct location.
9. Must be able to do clean-up both in the warehouse and sorting area.
10. Must be able to work and get along with fellow employees.
