Bay Animal Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team! This is an excellent position for experienced technicians looking to fully utilize their skills in the treatment area and surgery suite! We are seeking a dependable and adaptable team player.
In this role, you will primarily assist during exams and outpatient care, maintain detailed medical records, review and execute treatment plans, and assist in surgery. Additionally, you will coordinate with your team to manage the veterinarians orders, ensuring the highest level of patient care and maintaining an efficient workflow to keep exams running on schedule. This role is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who excel in multi-tasking and want to fully utilize their skillset.
This is a full-time position, with a 4-10s schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday. No weekends!
Full-time benefits and compensation:
- Compensation: $20-22/hour, based on experience

Minimum qualifications and skillset:
- 1-3 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Michigan
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Phlebotomy
- Microscopy
- Client Education/Communication
- Interest or passion for dentistry preferred
