Bay Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Doctor's Assistant to join our team! Our outpatient care team plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care during appointments by coordinating and executing treatment plans and providing thorough client education.
In this role, you will primarily assist during exams, maintain detailed medical records (SOAPs), review treatment plans and charges, filling medications and address client questions. Additionally, you will coordinate with your team to manage the veterinarian’s orders, ensuring the highest level of patient care and maintaining an efficient workflow to keep exams running on schedule. This position is ideal for those who excel in client engagement and schedule management.
This is a full-time position, with a 4 / 10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday.
Full-time benefits and compensation :
- Compensation : $21-23 / hour, based on experience and skillset
- Bonus package : $500 for those with 3 years of consecutive, current VA experience
