About Us
Bay Area Community Resources seeks qualified candidates for a part-time position in our afterschool program.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor up to 20 youth in an afterschool setting.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with school day learning.
- Collaborate with youth to create a youth-driven curriculum.
Qualifications
- A minimum of an Associate Degree or 48 college units, or a High School Diploma or GED and Instructional Aide exam certification.
- Able to pass a criminal background check and TB test clearance.
- Availability Monday through Friday afternoons until 6 p.m., excluding holidays, summers, and weekends.
- Ability to commute reliably to El Cerrito.
- Commitment to social justice, leadership, and passion for learning and youth development.
- Strong teamwork skills.
