EXPANDED LEARNING PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR @ Francis Scott Key Elementary :
We are currently seeking committed and passionate Instructors to lead Academic, Enrichment and Recreation activities for the Expanded Learning Program. Our ideal Program Instructor will have a strong dedication to youth development, a sense of creativity and enthusiasm and be able to commit to working the entire school year.
Benefits:
- Pay rate: $23 - $25 per hour DOE
- 16 paid BACR holidays

Requirements
- Must have an AA degree or higher, 48 college credits OR pass the SFUSD Instructional Aide Exam (High School Diploma or GED required)
- Ability to work Monday – Friday 1:30pm- 6:00 pm for the duration of the school year. (Wednesdays 12:30pm-6:00pm)
- Must be able to communicate openly in a professional manner with students, parents, community partners, and BACR staff.
- Must pass a criminal background check and have TB Clearance
- Experience working with Kindergarten or Elementary school youth preferred
Responsibilities:
- Ability to manage classroom, plan, and facilitate activities for up to 20 students
- Create, plan, execute lesson plans for student enrichment
- Must be able to work independently or part of a team
- Actively supervise and ensure student safety at all times
- Model positive and proactive attitudes, behaviors and language

Above is the pay range for this position that we reasonably expect to pay. Individual compensation is based on various factors including experience/education, skillset, and geographic location.
