Job Summary
Office Manager for Well Established Dental Office - We are looking for a superstar to join our team! This position requires proven leadership skills where others look to you as the example, strong communication skills, integrity, team-building skills and a self-managing work ethic. Applicants must have extensive dental experience, working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, QuickBooks, basic knowledge of computer systems and troubleshooting, and be a master at multi-tasking. Experience with Open Dental is a plus!
Great working hours accompany this opportunity. Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:00 pm and select Fridays 7:30am-12:00pm. Responsibilities
- Supervise and support office staff, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
- Manage administrative and clinical teams.
- Coordinate event planning for company meetings, training sessions, and other activities.
- Oversee budgeting processes and manage office supplies inventory.
- Assist with human resources functions such as onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, reviews and terminations.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment to promote efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the organization.
- Implement office policies and procedures to enhance workflow.
Qualifications
- 10 years in dentistry REQUIRED
- Proven experience as an Office Manager in a dental practice.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
