Position Overview :
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our fleet of food trucks, ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage a diverse team. The GM will ensure that the business runs smoothly, meets financial goals, complies with health and safety regulations, and creates a positive, engaging atmosphere for customers and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operational Management : Oversee the daily operations of multiple food trucks, ensuring all trucks are fully staffed, stocked, and operating efficiently.
- Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and manage a team of drivers, chefs, and support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Management : Monitor inventory levels, ensure timely procurement of food and supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Financial Oversight : Develop and monitor budgets, track revenue, and control costs to achieve financial targets. Analyze sales data and make adjustments as needed.
- Scheduling & Staffing : Create staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for shifts, and manage employee performance, including hiring, training, and evaluations.
- Customer Service Excellence : Ensure high standards of customer service, address customer complaints or concerns, and maintain a positive brand image.
- Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure all food trucks comply with local health codes, food safety standards, and sanitation regulations.
- Marketing & Promotions : Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the food truck business through social media, events, and partnerships to increase brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Event Management : Coordinate food truck appearances at events, festivals, and private bookings, ensuring a smooth setup and delivery of services.
- Reporting & Analysis : Track key performance metrics, generate reports, and present insights to ownership or senior management to support strategic decision-making.
