About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Staff Attorney to join our team in Dade City. As a key member of our office, you will be responsible for providing counsel and advice to clients in civil legal proceedings, with a primary focus on family law and domestic violence.
The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in Florida. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including emergency advocacy
- Provide advice and assistance in connection with crime victim compensation
- Interview applicants and determine eligibility for established legal services
- Communicate with clients to understand their legal needs and concerns
- Develop and implement strategies to resolve cases favorably
