Emergency Veterinary Technician
Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for experienced candidates
Bay Area Pet Hospital is a privately owned 24/7 emergency hospital in beautiful Traverse City, MI. We are hiring for each emergency outpatient technician and patient care technician. Our emergency outpatient technicians are responsible for patient triage, client communications of treatment plan, completion of patient diagnostics and therapies and patient discharge. Our patient care team oversees treatments and procedures for our inpatients.
Requirements are a knowledgeable and passionate for emergency medicine, excellence in communication, and dependability. Due to the nature of the position, proficiency with emergency procedures (large gauge IV catheterization, doppler blood pressure, CPCR, drug calculations) is required as is proficiency with anesthetic monitoring. ICU experience including central line placement, overseeing CRI calculation and administration, comfort placing urinary catheters and nasal lines is required for our patient care position.

License/Certification:
