Tutor - Grades 3rd-7th - In Person
Mt. Pleasant Elementary School District FALL After-School Program
Program Overview:
This after-school program is designed to support students in grades 3-7 who need to assistance in Reading. The program will run at four schools within the Mt. Pleasant Elementary School District:
- August Boeger Middle School
- Ida Jew Valle Vista Elementary (3-5th Grade)
- Mt. Pleasant Ida Jew Elementary
- Robert Sanders Elementary
Program Schedule: FALL STARTING AUGUST IN PERSON
- Dates: August 2024-May 2025
- Monday - Friday: 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Description: We're focusing on English Language Arts (ELA), incorporating engaging resources to help students with reading and language arts. As well workbooks, and writing exercises to enhance literacy skills. Tutoring sessions will take place on campus, providing a conducive environment for learning.
Qualifications:
- Ability to develop rapport with students and create a supportive learning environment.
- Passion for helping students succeed academically.
- Pervious tutoring or teaching experience is a plus.
- Enthusiastic about supporting student success through academic assistance.
Requirements: Training session-TBA, HR requirements, background check, TB, BATA Intro training.
