Job Title: Automotive Yard Parts Puller

Are you fascinated by the inner workings of vehicles and the challenge of disassembling them? Do you enjoy working with your hands and solving mechanical puzzles? If so, we have an opportunity for you as an Automotive Yard Dismantler.

Position Overview:
As an Automotive Yard Parts Puller, you'll play a crucial role in order fulfillment. Your primary responsibility will be to remove parts for customer orders in a fast-paced environment, getting each work order completed correctly and in a timely manner. You’ll do this by removing the sold parts from salvage vehicles outdoors in the yard. You’ll work independently but there is always help available from other team members when needed. You’ll never have to remove engines or transmission or other major components since we do that inside the dismantling shop on hoists. You’ll only have to remove things like doors, fenders, bumpers, head lights, seats, and suspension. We will provide you with your own yard truck, but you need to have your own tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fulfill Customer Orders: Use hand and power tools to carefully remove parts such as mirrors, doors, body panels, interior components, etc.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts for damage or defects, ensuring they meet customer expectations.
• Safety Compliance: Prioritize safety at all times, following safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical Aptitude: Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components, with the ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy parts and working in various weather conditions.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and differentiate between various automotive parts.
• Ability to follow written instructions: Each customer order has specific promises made to the customer that must be followed.
• Team Player: Ability to work well as part of a team, communicating effectively with coworkers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
