About the Role:
This part-time position involves working in a team environment that provides geriatric, end-of-life, and palliative care to our residents. You will be responsible for completing initial and ongoing assessments to identify the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing residents' conditions and charting observations
- Performing evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review
- Administering medication as prescribed by the resident's physician
- Effective communication with residents, their family members, team members, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's School of Nursing, or vocational nursing
- Current state license as an RN and proof of current CPR certification
- Compassionate, friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills
