Dishwasher

We are seeking a seasonal Dishwasher to join our team! The Dishwasher will be responsible for the cleanliness of dishes, utensils and cookware, using machine and manual cleaning methods. This is a seasonal full-time/part-time non-exempt position to work nights, days, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glasses, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas.
• Rewashed soiled dishes before delivering.
• Change dishwater in dish machine as directed.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
• Remove trash and garbage from the dumpster.
• Set up or break down dishwashing area.
• Clean and roll/unroll mats.
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
• Sweep/mop floors.
• Assemble/disassemble dish machine.
• Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster.
• Conduct general restaurant cleaning as directed.
• Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry.
• Notify manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
• Do not touch dirty dishes before touching clean dishes without washing your hands first.
• Stock and maintain orderly fashion all products for pantry, Refrigeration, Freeze Dry, Chemical, Paper, etc...

Compensation

• Starting at $15.00 an hour

Work Demands

Occasionally required to stand, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 50 pounds.
