What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at Bay Bridge Marina Waterfront Restaurant LLC?
We are seeking a seasonal Host/Hostess to join our team! The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting guests as they enter the restaurant. Will seat and present clean menus to guests in a friendly, professional and quicker manner. This is full-time/part-time non-exempt seasonal position to work nights, days, weekends, holidays.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests and present menu with a smile.
- Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction.
- Always strive to exceed guests' expectations.
- Take names on waiting list.
- Run the floor plan board.
- Observes tables and keeps track of dirty, clean and occupied tables.
- Take guests information and quote wait time to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
- Cleans, organizes, and stock menus at host stand.
- Answer phone and answer questions concerning the menu and the restaurant.
- Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure a positive experience.
- Fills To-Go orders.
- Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair, and personal hygiene are essential.

Compensation
- $15.00 an hour.
