Finishing Shop Positions--Burner 1st and 2nd Shift Available

Bay Cast Inc. currently has open positions for Burners, on both 1st and 2nd Shifts. Competitive compensation based on experience and skillset. These are hands on positions that do not require foundry specific experience! 1st Shift is Mon-Fri from 6:00am-3:30pm and Saturdays from 5:00am-11:00am. 2nd Shift is Mon-Fri from 3:30pm-2:30am, no weekends, plus $0.20 per hour shift premium. These positions average 45-52 hours per week and employees are paid weekly!

Job Description:

Burning positions at Bay Cast utilize large acetylene torches to heat up castings in order to burn off remnants of the casting process. This is a hands-on position. Candidates must be willing to work in hot environments, be able to bend and stoop repeatedly, and be on their feet for most of the work day.

Experience/Qualifications:

· Experience with power tools, large acetylene torches, and pneumatic tools is a plus.

· Use of a tape measure and reading of simple visual set-up drawings.

· Reliable Transportation is Required.

· Good attendance is required.

· Willingness to learn.
