Responsibilities
Provides general office, receptionist and clerical assistance that contributes to the day to day operations of the center and adhering to the Samaritas Values of People First, Communication, Quality Service, Stewardship and Innovation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain current knowledge of Samaritas’ programs, services and key employees in order to accurately inform and refer persons requesting service and information.
- Perform receptionist duties including answering telephone, routing calls and taking messages, greeting and assisting visitors as required.
- Perform clerical functions such as email correspondence, word processing / typing, assisting with collating packets and mailings, mail sorting and distribution, copying, faxing, ordering supplies, and other general office duties, as required.
- Create and maintain filing systems relevant to office functions.
- Vouchering invoices, as requested, on a daily / regular basis.
- Provide back up for support staff.
- Coordinate or assist with scheduling meetings and general office events, arrange for refreshments / lunches, as requested.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
- Assist with special projects and requests, as needed.
