OVERVIEW
You know that moment when a customer realizes they’ve found the right solution? The excitement, the relief, the “where do I sign?” moment? That’s what you create.
As a Sales Engineer, you’re the bridge between curiosity and confidence, the technical expert who turns “maybe” into “yes.” You take complex problems and translate them into clear, compelling solutions. You listen as much as you explain, and you know that a demo is more than just a product walkthrough—it’s a story about what’s possible.
What You’ll Do:
- Solve real problems – Work with customers to understand their needs and map our solutions to their goals.
- Show, don’t just tell – Lead technical demos and proof-of-concepts that make the value obvious.
- Be the translator – Turn technical jargon into business value, and customer challenges into clear solutions.
- Partner with sales – Team up with Account Executives to drive deals forward with the right mix of technical insight and business impact.
- Stay sharp – Keep up with product updates, industry trends, and competitor moves so you’re always ready with the best answer.
- Make customers feel heard – Work with product and engineering teams to relay feedback and influence future development.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- You’ve got technical chops – Whether it’s SaaS, cloud, networking, or something else, you know your way around tech.
- You love solving puzzles – Every customer is different, and you thrive on figuring out the best-fit solution.
- You’re a natural communicator – Whether you’re breaking down a complex idea or handling objections, you do it with clarity and confidence.
- You’re a team player – Sales is a team sport, and you play well with others.
- You’re customer-obsessed – You don’t just want to sell; you want to help people make the best decision for them.
Bonus Points If You:
- Have experience in pre-sales, consulting, or technical support.
- Have worked in an industrial manufacturer or service company.
This isn’t just another sales role. It’s your chance to make an impact—on customers, on the business, and on your own career.
