Job Summary

We are seeking a Part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our team in California, MD. The DSP will provide essential assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and collaborate within a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Aid individuals with daily tasks like personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Offer emotional support and companionship.
• Assist in engaging individuals in community activities.
• Maintain detailed records of individual progress and report any issues to supervisors.

Schedule

• Part-time position with specific hours:
• Sunday: 8am - 2pm
• Saturday: 2pm - 10pm
• Includes a $2 weekend differential.
