**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certification or training in caregiving or related field preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs preferred
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance are a must
- Clean driving record
- Must pass a background check
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Must obtain a DOT once hired
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide compassionate and individualized care
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide one-on-one assistance and support to participants during day activities
- Assist participants with tasks and activities tailored to their specific needs
- Ensure participant safety and well-being at all times
- Safely transport participants to and from the program following the designated schedule
- Maintain a positive and inclusive environment for all participants
- Communicate effectively with participants, families, and team members
- Keep accurate records of participant progress and incidents
- Engage in training and professional development activities as required
- Adhere to all policies and procedures related to participant care and transportation
