Join the Bay-CSS team at the Annapolis Day Activities Center as a compassionate and dedicated DSP (Direct Support Professional) who will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities. This role involves assisting individuals with daily activities, fostering independence, and ensuring their overall well-being.
1. Engage individuals in recreational activities and accompany them on community outings.
2. Transport individuals to and from the center or other destinations.
3. Implement and follow individualized care plans and support goals effectively.
4. Monitor individual progress, behaviors, and health status, and maintain accurate documentation.
5. Ensure a clean and safe environment for individuals under your care.
6. Collaborate with a diverse team to provide comprehensive care and support.
1. Previous experience in supporting individuals with disabilities preferred.
2. Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to helping others.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
5. Willingness to obtain a DOT (Department of Transportation) certification.
6. Must pass a background check and drug screening.
7. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current car insurance required.
8. Capable of lifting at least 50lbs.
This full-time position offers $21 / hr. with a $2 weekend differential, working Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm.
