Part-Time DSP at Residential Program, Leonardtown, MD

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a compassionate Part-Time DSP (Direct Support Professional) to join our team in Leonardtown, MD. As a DSP, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Compassionate and patient approach
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Successful completion of a background check
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and car insurance
• Completion of all required paid company training

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct care and support to individuals with disabilities
• Aid with personal care activities, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Assist individuals in setting and reaching personal goals
• Maintain a safe and clean living environment for individuals
• Record daily activities and progress notes accurately
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and family members effectively

Schedule:

• Part-Time position
• Thursday from 2pm to 10pm and Saturday from 8am to 10pm
• Hourly rate of $21, with a $2 shift differential for Saturdays & Sundays
