This is a non-exempt position. This position is non-exempt. Essential Functions of the Position:  Responsible for care of patients on unit Monitor vital signs and notify M.D. as necessary Assess changes in patient conditions Medicates PRN, according to standing orders Telephone and initial screening of all patients for admission, obtaining as medically accurate history as possible Keeps accurate nursing notes describing patients' physical conditions and records all medications Participates in ongoing discharge planning with counseling staff and administrators Job Requirements:  Massachusetts registration and license, RN Three years hospital experience is required, at least one year of which involved acute admissions on either a medical, surgical or emergency service Prior substance use disorder or mental health treatment experience preferred Must be able and willing to work with individuals with substance use and mental health disorders in a respectful and compassionate manner Bay Cove Human Services does not offer visa sponsorships at this time and will require candidates to be authorized to work in the United States.   #BaycoveBHI
