What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Bay Cuisine, LLC?
Our Bartenders offer dining guests an elevated level of customer service. They are knowledgeable of menu items including all beverages, and specials. They connect with each guest and execute prompt and friendly service.
MAIN JOB DUTIES:
· Greet customers by name when able; we have faithful repeat business.
· Mix and serve our delicious crafted cocktails, beer, and wine.
· Work closely with service team to coordinate execution of service.
· Take notice of any customer who has special dietary restrictions or food allergies.
· Always be available to answer questions or offer food and beverage suggestions to customers.
· Cleaning and organizing work areas and ensuring dining areas are neat and clean.
· Prep work and side work to ensure the restaurant condiments and add-ons are available at-hand.
· Performs other duties as directed by his/her supervisor.
TO QUALIFY, YOU’LL NEED:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· TABC and Food Handlers certificates required within first week of employment.
· Must be able to read, speak, and write English.
· Previous bartending experience.
· Basic computer skills, math, and data entry skills; experience with POS systems valuable.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
