Position Summary
We are seeking a Partnership Development Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate is driven, self-motivated, and passionate about the business of sport. The Partnership Development Coordinator will be responsible for the oversight of a portion of Bay FC’s corporate partnership accounts. This full-time position reports to the Director, Partnership Development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as point of contact for 3-5 of Bay FC’s corporate partners and their activation elements, while assisting in the management of additional corporate partners.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders of current partners and cultivate brand and agency relationships with future Bay FC corporate partners.
- Maintain ongoing contractual obligations to meet corporate partner goals and objectives and ensure 100% client satisfaction.
- Track all partners’ asset inventory and execution of activations throughout the season.
- Plan and execute events, promotions, experiences, and community activities on behalf of partners and Bay FC.
- Work with internal departments to compile and share research, performance metrics, data, success rate, and market trends with partners.
- Consistently evaluate current partner goals and objectives and recommend additional assets for their consideration.
- Create and present execution recaps and sales presentations.
- Plan and deliver events, promotions, and VIP experiences.
- Manage internal request forms for all gameday and non-gameday events.
- For all Bay FC home matches, assist in partnership activation setup and breakdown, and assist in overseeing all activations are executed according to schedule.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Internship or 1 year of corporate partnership, account management, or sports marketing experience preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines and work with changing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage a high level of detail across multiple projects and to prioritize efficiently
- High emotional intelligence, intellectual curiosity and desire to grow professionally
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while remaining organized, efficient and calm under pressure
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, as necessary for job functions
- Ability to be in Bay FC’s San Francisco office Tuesday-Thursday and attend all Bay FC home match days in San Jose, CA
- Understanding of the NWSL and/or soccer is preferred
Compensation:
The anticipated starting salary for this role is $70,000. Hired applicant will be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope.
