What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Bartender position at Bay Head Yacht Club Inc?
Description:
1. Responsible for setting up the beverage service area with or without assistance of bar back, which may include positioning of portable bars.
2. Make sure the bar is stocked with appropriate glassware, cocktail stirring rods, napkins and drink garnishes, etc.
3. Greets members, non-members and guests.
4. Stock bar with soft drinks, liquor, wine, beer and other beverages provided.
5. Fill drink orders for guests, answer questions about drink ingredients and making suggestions for different types of beverages and cocktails.
6. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day and night, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
7. Attend staff meetings including pre-shift (line-up) sessions as required.
8. Complete closing duties, store all reusable goods, break down goods, clean equipment and areas, restock and complete cleaning checklists.
9. Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
10. Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and department.
11. Ensuring that alcoholic beverages are not dispensed to people under the age of 21.
12. Carefully follows all laws and club policies and procedures regarding alcoholic beverage service and inform managers if continued service to a member or guest is in question.

1. Lift up to fifty (50) pounds, unassisted.
2. Stand for long periods.
3. Bending, stretching, and kneeling throughout shift.
4. Nights, weekends and holidays required.
