What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Leader position at Bay Industries Inc?
The Team Lead/Machine Operator runs the laminator machine and provides basic adjustments as needed. This person will work with all facings, fiberglass, and tab combinations. Follows all safety procedures and understands safety equipment. Responsible for quality of all rolls including, but not limited to tabs, glue usage, poly usage, roll length, and labeling of rolls as needed. Directs activities of General Labors to keep production running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Enter information on production forms.
- Operate laminator machine.
- Perform compliance testing.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Performs forklift operations as needed.
- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills to keep the crew motivated.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of production or warehouse experience, preferred.
