Role Description
The District Sales Manager for Bay Insulation Systems would travel throughout the geographic area of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, & Vermont. This position will contact contractors, insulation companies, brokers, manufacturers, and other specifiers of Metal Building Insulation. In addition, the District Sales Manager will be representing EXPI-DOOR Systems Inc., our specialized metal walk door manufacturer. You have NO direct reports.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares and presents quotes.
- Acquires customer orders.
- Handles customer questions, complaints, and needs.
- Develops, reviews, and implements district sales plan.
- Manages internal customer support.
- Promotes Bay Insulation Systems and products throughout the district.
- Generate new customers and new sales.
- Continue to build current customer relationships.
- Manages expenses and territory travel plan.
- Ability to travel weekly with 50% of the travel to be overnight.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales management and developing sales strategies
- Strong market research and business development skills
- Excellent customer service and client relationship management abilities
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with the metal building insulation or construction industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
