The Staff Accountant is responsible for completing the monthly closing processes for divisional and corporate entities, review and prepare journal entries, analyze and publish financial statements.
The Essential Duties And Responsibilities Of This Position Are
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for multiple divisions.
- Research inventory cost and provide cost analysis monthly.
- Prepare journal entries that meet accounting standards.
- Support D365 ERP system help desk, answering questions from all divisions.
- Participate in departmental projects as requested.
- Maintain subsidiary ledgers to included fixed asset maintenance and lease accounting.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum associate degree in accounting or finance, bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- 1 or more years of accounting experience required, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Ax a plus.
