What are the responsibilities and job description for the Onsite Maintenance Technician position at Bay Management Group?
Mount Vernon Apartments @ Bay Management Group is seeking to hire a maintenance technician who can handle routine service calls and prepare apartments for new tenants. These properties are located in Mt. Vernon in downtown Baltimore.
Experience and references are a must to be considered! Must be able to work with an electronic calendar, property management software (for inspection photos), email and have a valid driver's license.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of pre 1978 properties for lead
- Well rounded & versed maintenance tech – Skilled in Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Carpentry, etc.
- Microsoft office (Outlook)
- AppFolio Property Manager Software – Preferred but not required
- Internet Browsing & Part Links
- Excellent Organizational skills
- Excellent Communication
- Attention to Details
- Understanding of Building systems
- Willingness to learn additional skills
- Can work independently & also in a team atmosphere
- Punctual
- Dependable
- Good attitude is a MUST

Starting salary is dependent on experience but will be between $45,000-$50,000.
