Description

 Bay Medical Management, LLC is a medical services organization (MSO) headquartered in Walnut Creek.  The organization provides administrative and management services to Bay Imaging Consultants Medical Group (BIC) the premier radiology group in Northern California. 


SUMMARY

Reporting to the Clinical IT Manager to provide operational management of team supporting imaging informatics platforms to meet local facility operational. Team manages and deploys hardware/software to Radiologists, and provides technical support to BMMLLC / BIC. This responsibility encompasses software and hardware support on all computing platforms in the BMMLLC / BIC enterprise, 24/7 support of Radiology operations. Maintain system workflow and standards that adhere to the company’s guidelines. 

Requirements

  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Other duties may be assigned.

  • Supervises team of helpdesk and IT specialists that build, deploy and support Radiologist workstations. 
  • Acts as an escalation point for the clinical helpdesk and provides deskside, remote, and phone support as required. 
  • Installs and supports all clinical and applicable corporate applications, including MS Office 365, other clinical and business software, cloud-based software, ensuring adherence to corporate standards for desktop and laptop computing platforms. 
  • Provides level 2-3 support for applications, including Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and various clinical applications used by clinical staff and radiologists, ensuring end-users' technical issues are resolved efficiently while fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and promoting a collaborative and customer-centric environment. 
  • Provides guidance and leadership to IT Specialist I and Help Desk Technicians on workstation deployment activities. 
  • Leads project related tasks for technology deployments and upgrades, coordinating with stakeholders and Clinical Ops Leadership to define task scope, objectives, and deliverables, and ensuring successful execution. Responsible for      communication with stakeholders and management during project execution, including regular updates on progress, addressing any issues or concerns.  Provides leadership for helpdesk agents on projects and ensures continued alignment with organizational priorities and timelines related to the project.  
  • Maintains and updates the inventory of all hardware and software throughout the organization. 
  • Maintains accurate logs and documentation of activities, striving to exceed user expectations and uphold the company's reputation for outstanding customer service through professionalism and integrity. 


SKILLS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • License, Certification, Registration
  • Minimum three (2) years of experience in business, organizational development, informatics, or technology related fields required.
  • PACS Experience: Intelerad, Philips Intellispace, McKesson, Sectra, Visage, GE Centricity preferred 
  • Certifications by PARCA (PACS Administrators Registry and Certification Association) preferred


OTHER SKILLS

  • PACS Experience: Intelerad, Philips Intellispace, McKesson, Sectra, Visage, GE Centricity preferred
  • Voice Recognition software and hardware experience: Powerscribe and MModal
  • Preferred experience in administrative operations with a healthcare environment.
  •  Comptia a certification or MCSA desired
  •  Strong technical background in computer system, general networking, and software/hardware troubleshooting
  •  Experience in providing training implementation and troubleshooting of technical systems (software and hardware).

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
