Requirements for RN/LPN Unit Manager:
- Current, unencumbered nursing license in Massachusetts
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), preferred
- Experience with electronic medical record
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC), preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid leadership abilities, team approach, and the ability to lead others respectfully
- Weekend and holiday on-call rotation is required
Job Duties for RN/LPN Unit Manager:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Mentor RN/LPN Staff Nurses
- Provide guidance to our Nursing Assistants
- Monitor training for new orients
- Ensure continual delivery of high-quality nursing care
- Implement infection control updates
- Greet new admissions and participate in discharge planning
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
- Direct workflow efficiently within time constraints
- Contribute to QAPI analysis and initiatives
The successful RN/LPN Unit Manager candidate will report to the Director of Nursing and collaborate with our Assistant Director of Nursing and Staff Development Coordinator to foster patient-centered nursing care.
