Position: Pet Care Associate - Doggy Daycare
Employment Status: FT/PT
Pay: Hourly (Non Exempt)
The Pet Care Associate will provide exceptional care to the pet guests of Bay Paws Pet Resort in Dog Daycare and/or Boarding. The Pet Care Associate will be responsible for providing a positive, fun, interactive experience for the pet guests, while also ensuring their safety and health. The Pet Care Associate will communicate effectively and clearly with the Bay Paws management team to ensure information regarding pet experiences, temperament and needs are shared as needed.
The Pet Care Associate is responsible for the following duties:
- Managing pet activity and interaction in the daycare yards, ensuring the safety of all pets throughout the day
- Utilizing knowledge of pet body language and behavior to determine which pets to rotate and which pet interactions to correct
- Providing overall pet care, including but not limited to feeding, cleaning, medicating, laundering, elimination removal, pet parent communication, etc. for all pet guests of Bay Paws Pet Resort
- Preparing for arrival of pets into Daycare
- Preparing for departure of pets from Daycare
- Following all cleaning and sanitary guidelines for elimination areas
- Exceeding pet parent expectations by providing knowledgeable and loving care to pet guests
- Maintaining and cleaning of Daycare areas
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year pet care experience, preferably in pet boarding or veterinary environment
- Team player mentality
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to read, count and write for documents and reporting
- Eligible to work in the United States
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or walk 90% of time
- Ability to lift 40 pounds unassisted
- Ability to control pets during relocation throughout the Pet Resort

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
