Purpose and Scope:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents in accordance with current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility. The LPN will also supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants and maintain the highest degree of quality care at all times.
Benefits and Compensation:
This LPN position offers several benefits, including paid in-service training, incentive bonuses, and employee recognition programs. Pay and compensation include a base hourly rate between $32 and $34, with shift differentials for 3p-11p and 11p-7a shifts. Additional compensation includes holiday pay, overtime pay, benefits, 401k, daily pay, and tuition reimbursement through ECPI.
Requirements:
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with current state license
- Current/active CPR certification
- Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate, and maintain multiple projects with high quality and productivity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to lift fifty (50) or more pounds
- Able to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day
- Able to bend and/or stoop for more than one (1) hour at a time
