FLSA Status: Part-time, non-exempt
Weekly Hours: 10 hours per week with rehearsals on Thursdays and worship on Sundays

Position Summary: The Production Associate is responsible for overseeing all aspects of audio/visual
(A/V) and production, ensuring high-quality sound, visual displays, and multimedia integration during
worship services and events
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Audio/Visual Setup and Operation
- Set up and operate A/V equipment, including microphones, mixers, amplifiers, speakers,
projectors, screens, and other multimedia devices. - Ensure balanced and clear sound during worship services, rehearsals, and events, adjusting
sound levels and video displays in real-time. - Collaborate with musicians, vocalists, and the worship team to address specific A/V needs.
- Ensure a seamless experience for the congregation by addressing and resolving technical
and A/V challenges promptly. - Apply technical skills in sound engineering, video editing, and multimedia production to
enhance the worship experience.
Production Oversight:
- Manage all aspects of live production, including sound reinforcement, video displays, and
multimedia presentations. - Oversee screen content during services, ensuring seamless transitions and appropriate
visual displays to support worship and sermons. - Prepare and manage audio and visual cues for multimedia presentations, live video, and
recordings. - Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair A/V equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Recommend and coordinate equipment upgrades and purchases to stay current with the
latest technology and enhance the worship experience.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Maintain open communication with the Music Director, worship team, and other technical
staff to coordinate production needs.
Assist in planning for upcoming events, special services, or any additional production
requirements .

- Strong technical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot A/V issues efficiently
- Ability to adapt to various musical styles, production needs, and service formats
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- A passion for worship and supporting the mission of Bridge City Church
- Flexibility to work on Sundays, Thursdays and the occasional special event
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience:
High School or GED equivalency required
Proven experience in A/V production, sound engineering, and multimedia management
Satisfactory background check required for all positions
Physical Requirements:
Able to manipulate buttons, dials and switches
Able to lift 25 pounds
Able to read and communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
Able to sit on and rise from the floor
