What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Cashier position at Bay Ridge Auto Group?
We are looking for a full-time Cashier who enjoys working with the public and has a friendly, outgoing personality. As a team-oriented company, we seek an individual who can be flexible with work hours. The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and displays a positive attitude when interacting with customers and employees.
*Hours are weekdays from 10am-7pm and must be able to work Saturday from 9am-6pm.
Responsibilities
- Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner
- Take a tally of the funds in the cash register when required during a shift and produce transaction reports
- Keep the checkout area clean and orderly
- Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change
- Operate registers, and credit card/debit card terminals
- Maintain accurate cash drawer
Qualifications
- Excellent listening/communication skills, outgoing and positive personality
- Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment
- Professional appearance and eager to improve on all aspects
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
