Retail Stock Associate

Overview

• Stocking and Organizing Shelves: Ensure that all products are stocked neatly, organized, and properly displayed according to store standards. Rotate stock to maintain product freshness and avoid expired items.
• Processing Deliveries: Receive and unpack deliveries, check in products to ensure correct quantities and quality. Store products in designated areas and update inventory records.
• Inventory Management: Assist with regular stock checks and product organization to ensure the store's inventory is always accurate and well-maintained.
• Operating the Register: Handle customer transactions with accuracy, process payments (cash, card, etc.), and provide receipts. Ensure smooth and friendly checkout experiences.
• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assist with locating products, and answer questions about our selection of wine, spirits, and beer. Provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers based on their preferences and needs.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the various types of wines, liquors, and beers we offer, including their origins, flavor profiles, and food pairings, to provide excellent guidance to customers.
• Cleaning and Maintaining the Store: Ensure the sales floor, stockrooms, and aisles are clean, organized, and safe. Assist with general store maintenance tasks as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other associates and the management team to ensure that the store operates smoothly and efficiently during busy periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
